A scissor lift table is a hydraulic work platform that moves vertically to raise, lower, and position materials. Its defining feature is the scissor mechanism-a series of linked, folding supports in a crisscross "X" pattern. As the mechanism extends, the platform rises; as it retracts, the platform lowers.

They are a fundamental piece of material handling equipment designed to improve ergonomics, safety, and efficiency in workplaces.

Platform: The flat surface where the load is placed. It can be made of steel, aluminum, or have special features like rotating tops, non-slip surfaces, or turntables.

Scissor Legs/Arms: The interlocking steel arms that provide the vertical lift. Their strength determines the lift's capacity and stability.

Base Frame: The bottom structure that houses the power source and provides stability.

Power Source:

Hydraulic (Most Common): Uses an electric or air-powered pump to push hydraulic fluid into a cylinder, extending the scissor legs. They are powerful and can handle heavy loads.
