Refill fuel

Recommended fuel

The gasoline engine is certified to use unleaded gasoline with a research octane number of 89 or higher.

Refill fuel in a well-ventilated area when the gasoline engine is stopped. If the gasoline engine is running, let it cool down first. Do not refill the gasoline engine with fuel in the building. The gasoline smoke may contact flames or sparks.

Unleaded gasoline containing no more than 10% ethanol (E10) or 5% methanol can be used. In addition, methanol must contain co-solvents and preservatives. Using fuels with methanol or ethanol content higher than those indicated above may cause starting and/or performance problems. May damage the metal, rubber and plastic parts of the fuel system. Gasoline engine damage or performance problems caused by the use of methanol or ethanol with a higher percentage than the fuel listed above are not covered by the warranty.

If the equipment is used on mail or uneven surfaces, please refer to the section on storing gasoline engine fuel (see page 11) for more information about fuel deterioration.

Do not use stale or contaminated gasoline or oil-gasoline mixture. Avoid dirt or water from entering the fuel tank.

Danger - Gasoline is flammable and explosive. It may cause burns or serious injuries when refilling fuel.

  • Stop the gasoline engine and wait for it to cool down before refilling fuel

  • Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames

  • Only refill fuel outdoors

  • Keep away from your transportation

  • Wipe off the spilled oil immediately
