1. Before use, the battery should be charged in 1/10 of rated electric current for 3-5 hours. Every time the electricity is insufficient, charge the battery in 1/10 of used electric current. Under emergency conditions, charge it in two times of standard charging electric current to shorten by one half of charging time. If there is no any instrument, a large number of emitting bubbles means that charging is over. Even not used often, the battery has to be added electric current for use. It is forbidden to charge it after electricity runs up.
2.The battery should be far from fire, averting contact of anode and cathode、short circuit as well as looseness of anode and cathode joints. Do not wipe battery with dry cloth lest static spark produce. Use and charge battery at well ventilated places. If sparks are found when being charged, loosen aircock. For someone work around a battery that is being charged, one has to pay attention to personal protection. Because there is sulfur acid in battery, avoid skin、eyes and clothes when using it. Once contacted with sulfur acid, please wash with a large amount of fresh water.
3.In order to give full play of battery in performance and life time, please pay attention to maintenance of battery: inspect liquid surface regularly; if inspect liquid is found lower than water line, add distilled water or purified water to water line. Sulfur acid cannot be added. No need of liquid surface inspection and liquid adding.
4. When the voltage of battery is insufficient and light is dim or start is impotent, charge the battery in time.
5. Avoid charging in large electric current for a long time. Reverse charging is forbidden.
6.When charging, the temperature of charging liquid, if found higher than 45℃, stop charging immediately. Charge battery until the temperature of charging liquid falls.
7.Store battery in dark and dry places. Be far from heat source.
8. For machine with DC battery as its driving force, stop the battery of battery after each use. Otherwise electricity runs up, only to affect the next use and life span of battery.
