Daily Pre-Use Inspection Checklist
Before each use, operators must perform a thorough visual and functional check .
Component What to Check Action if Problem Found
Suction Cups/Pads Cracks, cuts, tears, excessive wear, or deformation Replace immediately
Hoses & Connections Kinks, holes, loose fittings, or signs of leakage Straighten, patch, or replace hose; tighten connections
Vacuum Pump Unusual noises, proper operation, oil level (if applicable) Investigate noise; top up or change oil; call technician if needed
Vacuum Gauge & Alarms Gauge reading (should reach specified negative pressure), audible/visual alarm function Do not use if vacuum level is insufficient or alarm fails
Battery/Power Supply Sufficient charge level; for battery units, check indicator lights Charge fully before use
Lifting Chains & Mechanical Parts Lubrication, wear, twisting, or knotting Lubricate, straighten, or replace as needed
Control Panel & Switches Proper response of all buttons and vent valves Clean contacts; replace faulty switches
Safety Locks & Emergency Release Proper engagement and function Repair or replace before use
The 50mm/30-Second Test: After attaching the lifter to the glass and achieving required vacuum, lift the load 50mm (about 2 inches) and wait 30 seconds while observing the vacuum gauge. If the vacuum level remains stable, proceed with the full lift
